Scott Morrissey (1985-89), a Cincinnati, Ohio native, helped lead Tiffin University to four consecutive men's soccer Mid-Ohio Conference Championships. He was a three-time All-District 22 performer and a four-time All-Mid-Ohio Conference honoree. He also had the distinction of earning MOC Player of the Year in 1988. He is a two-time NAIA All-American and was Tiffin University's first NAIA Umbro Senior Bowl participant. He also led the Dragons to their first NAIA National Tournament appearance in 1988. Morrissey, a captain for both men's soccer and men's basketball, also led the men's basketball team to the NAIA National Tournament in the same 1988-89 season. He earned his degree in Business Administration/Sports Management and currently is the Assistant Athletic Director and Men's Soccer Coach at the University of Rio Grande. He, his wife Kathy, and two children reside in Gallipolis, Ohio.
