Media Policies

The Tiffin University Sports Information Office manages marketing, public relations, and publications for the University's 23 NCAA Division II athletic programs. Members of the media seeking credentials, press box space, photographs, statistics, or other information regarding Tiffin University Athletics are encouraged to contact the office for assistance.

Photo Credentials
Media and photo credentials for Dragons football games should be requested AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. Seating in the press box can be limited and will be used for only the working press. For basketball and football, you must contact the Sports Information Director, Frank Maira (mairaf@tiffin.edu) for a press box or sideline pass. For other sports, press credentials are not provided, however, space at press row is very limited.

Photographers/Videographers
Photographers/videographers are asked to stay at least 10 feet from the playing surface and shoot from standard shooting positions. Flash photography is prohibited. Basketball and football photographers/videographers must have a pass for sideline access.

At football, photographers are allowed to shoot from the 30-yard line to the back of the end zone on both sides of the field. They're not allowed on the game field or at the bench areas during contests. Locker room access is prohibited.

At basketball/volleyball, photographers and videographers are allowed to shoot in the designated areas on the court. They're not allowed on the game court or in the bench areas during contests. Locker room access is prohibited.

Interviews
All interviews with Tiffin University coaches, student-athletes and staff members must be arranged through the Sports Information Department. After games, matches, and other athletic events, locker rooms are generally off limits. Player and coach interviews, however, may be conducted outside locker rooms or on the playing surface after a minimal 10-minute cooling-off period.
