Tiffin University

Dan Weinandy (1985-89) led Tiffin University's defensive secondary for the football team during the late 1980s. He earned All-American honors at defensive back while also garnering two All-District 22 nods. His interceptions total (13) stood as a Tiffin University record until 1993 and is still third all-time. He is also in the top five in tackles for a career (283). Weinandy also excelled in the classroom, earning Academic All-American honors during his career. Weinandy, who earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, currently works as a sales representative for Land O'Lakes while also actively working with the family farm. He, his wife Jenny, and three children reside in Tiffin, Ohio.
