James Tanks (1994-97) is a premier Track and Field standout who was one of the foundation athletes during the formative years of the program. James was the first Track and Field athlete to earn admission to the NAIA Indoor National Championships in the 4x400 meters event while also winning the Mid-Ohio Conference Championship in the 200 meters. At the time of his graduation he held nine school records, setting the standard by which future Track and Field standouts were judged. He earned his degree in Business Administration and currently works as a Senior Corporate Legal Operations Specialist at CT Corporation Systems. He resides in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
