Lonny Allen (1991-2023) served as Head Baseball Coach from 1991-2012 and Tiffin University Athletic Director from 2007-23. He totaled 444 coaching victories as baseball coach, the most in school history. He was named NACDA Athletic Director of the Year in 2021. Tiffin captured two team NCAA titles and 20 individual NCAA titles during his tenure. He oversaw the growth of the athletic department to 26 varsity sports along with the development of the Heminger Center, the Adelsperger Athletic Complex, the Hanson Physical Fitness Center, the Paradiso Athletic Complex, and the Esports Facility. During his playing career for the Tiffin baseball team, he was a First Team All MOC player in 1989. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Tiffin University and a master’s degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. He and his family reside in Tiffin, Ohio.
