INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Senior defender Tanner Brentlinger has been named the G-MAC Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week.  

Brentlinger was part of a stout Tiffin defense that helped the Dragons record two shutout wins last week while limiting Ashland to one shot on goal and Malone to two shots on goal. Saturday's game against Malone marked Brentlinger's 50th career game played where he scored his first career goal in the contest which proved to be the game-winner to propel the Dragons to a 2-0 start in conference play.   

It's the second time in his career he's earned G-MAC Athlete of the Week honors, also earning the award once in 2024.  

The Dragons are currently 3-1-2 overall and 2-0 in the G-MAC and wrap up their seven-game homestand on Thursday, September 17 against Findlay at 3 p.m. at the Paradiso Athletic Complex.
