NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Tiffin University men's soccer team improved to 4-1-3 overall and 3-0-1 in the G-MAC following a commanding 5-0 win over Walsh on Saturday afternoon.
Garbhan Feeney started the scoring in the 13th minute on a penalty kick, and converted a free kick 51 seconds later to make it 2-0 Dragons just under 14 minutes in.
A few minutes later, Sam Brittain scored off a pass from Stephen Owusu to make it 3-0 in the 17th minute.
The game remained 3-0 until midway through the second half when Zach Garcia scored an unassisted goal for Tiffin's fourth goal of the game. The fifth and final goal was an unassisted goal by Andre Robison which came in the 78th minute.
Tiffin emptied the bench in this one as 30 players saw playing time. Nick Cherry went the distance in goal and made three saves.
The Dragons outshot the Cavaliers 18-7 and had an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal. TU also had a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
The Dragons return home for their next game on Saturday, September 26 at 2:30 p.m. against Northwood at the Paradiso Athletic Complex.
