Tiffin University (2-3) could not overcome 35 turnovers, as Barton took advantage and outraced the Dragons 16-8.

Things started promisingly for the Dragons as they raced out to a 3-1 lead after 3:30 on goals by Gabby Wilson, Katelyn Jarvis, and Caylin Kunze. 

Barton dominated the rest of the half, though, outscoring TU 8-2 the rest of the way to lead 9-5 at halftime.

Though TU controlled the draw controls 18-9, the Dragons could not overcome 35 turnovers leading to a 39-22 shot disadvantage. Barton also won the ground ball battle 35-25, while the Dragons went 0-for-2 on free position attempts.

Jarvis led the Dragons with 4 goals and 5 ground balls, while Wilson finished with 3 goals and 7 draws. Lillian Graham also had 6 ground balls and 5 draws.

Jenay Rennie took the loss in goal, making 17 saves.
