Jessica Bombard landed her third consecutive GLIAC Goalkeeper of the Year honor, as the GLIAC released its all-conference honors as selected by vote of the conference coaches.
Bombard finished the season ranked fourth in NCAA Division II Lacrosse with an impressive .541 save percentage allowing only 167 goals all season and picking up 197 saves. In conference play Bombard saved 55.3% of the shots she saw and allowed only 10.51 goals per game. Bombard is currently second in career saves in NCAA Division II history.
Bombard was one of three First Team selections. Attacker Emily Roussel and midfielder Tori Nelson were also First Team picks. Roussel was 4th in goals scored with 58 and 5th in overall points with 70. Nelson, meanwhile, was 7th in goals with 45, 8th in points with 58, and 2nd in draw controls with 83.
Gina Abulone and Randi Castner were Second Team picks. Abulone nearly led the GLIAC in assists, coming in 2nd with 43, while also finishing 7th in points with 62. Castner was one of TU's top defenders, finishing 7th in the GLIAC in caused turnovers with 20.
Alexis MacMillan and Megan Belch were Honorable Mention selections. MacMillan finished her Dragons career with another solid season, totaling 30 goals, 14 assists, and 44 points, while defender Belch also played well with 11 caused turnovers and 22 ground balls.
