Dragons stay unbeaten in GLIAC with 22-16 win

Tiffin University (8-6, 4-0 GLIAC) won its 8th straight game, remaining unbeaten in conference with a 22-16 win over Findlay on the road.

It was another massive game for Tori Nelson, who tallied 6 goals with an assist along with 14 draw controls, 5 ground balls, and 3 caused turnovers. Emily Roussel also stood out with 4 goals and an assist while Morgan Sherley also had 4 scores.

Tiffin jumped out to an 8-3 lead at the 16:47 mark of the first half and took a 13-9 lead into the break. They maintained the slim 16-13 lead with 23:35 to play in the game before outscoring the Oilers 6-3 the rest of the way.

Alexis MacMillan added 3 goals and 3 assists while Gina Abulone had 2 goals and 4 assists. Amanda Flotteron had 2 goals and 2 assists while Katie Hill also scored. Jessica Bombard got the win in goal, making 16 big saves to preserve the lead over 60 minutes.
