Tiffin University (7-6, 3-0 GLIAC) had little trouble in their game against Alderson-Broaddus, scoring the first 13 goals en route to a big 18-2 victory.
The Dragons held a 30-5 shot advantage and used a huge 18-4 edge in draw controls to put a stranglehold on the Battlers. The defense also showed up, forcing 23 turnovers. TU posted a 13-0 lead with 7:21 to play in the half and never looked back.
The Dragons again featured a balanced offensive attack. Emily Roussel posted 5 goals and 2 assists along with 3 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers, while Tori Nelson had 4 goals and 2 assists with a whopping 11 draw controls and 2 caused turnovers.
Morgan Sherley and Alexis MacMillan also had 3 goals and an assist each, while Gina Abulone had a goal and 5 assists. Katie Hill had a goal and 3 caused turnovers, while Amanda Flotteron had a goal and assist and Haley Swanson had an assist.
Jessica Bombard got the win in goal, making a save in 20 minutes, while Kali Maisano (21 minutes, save) and Kellie Gruber (19 minutes) also saw action.
