Tiffin University (9-10) will take on Grand Valley State for the GLIAC Tournament Championship Sunday at 1 pm following a convincing 16-11 win over Lake Erie in the semifinals. The win avenged an earlier 16-15 overtime loss during the regular season to the Storm.

The Dragons wasted little time jumping ahead, taking a 5-1 lead after the first 11 minutes of play. The Dragons traded goals with Lake Erie throughout the remainder of the half and led 9-5 at the break.

After the Storm closed to 9-6, the Dragons put the game away by scoring 6 straight goals to take a commanding 15-6 lead with just 7:00 left. Jessica Bombard had a stellar game in goal, making 17 saves over her 60 minutes.

Tiffin won the draw controls 16-12 and weathered the Storm's offensive attack. Lake Erie outshot TU 39-27 and grabbed 41 ground balls to Tiffin's 32.

Tori Nelson had 4 goals for Tiffin, which spread the offense around amongst five players. Nelson also had 7 draw controls and 6 ground balls. Gina Abulone had 3 goals with 5 assists, Emily Roussel had 3 goals and 2 assists, and Alexis MacMillan and Morgan Sherley scored 3 goals apiece.
