Tiffin University (5-6, 3-0 GLIAC) continued its hot streak, winning its fourth straight game in dominating fashion over Wheeling Jesuit in another GLIAC matchup 19-4.
Tiffin held an 8-2 lead at the half and turned up the intensity even more in the second half, outscoring WJU 11-2 in the final 30 minutes. Overall they outshot WJU 34-20 and held a 16-9 edge in draw controls. They also won the ground ball battle 28-22.
Alexandria Quast continued her sensational week, totaling 7 more goals with 3 assists along with 5 ground balls. Quast finished the week with 23 goals and 20 assists in three games for 43 points, including setting two single game national Division II records for assists and points in a game vs. Walsh.
Katelyn Hill won 13 draws while scoring twice with 3 assists and 5 ground balls. Emily Roussel also had a 10 point day, scoring 6 times with 4 assists and leading the team with 7 ground balls. Alexis MacMillan had 4 goals and 5 assists while Kalie Weinheimer also had an assist. Jessica Bombard got the win, making 12 saves in 60 minutes in improving to 5-6.
