Tiffin University (7-8, 5-2 GLIAC) fell behind early and hung close throughout the game but could never manage to catch up, as Lake Erie came to Frost Kalnow Stadium and left with a 15-9 victory.

The Dragons trailed 4-2 early and cut the deficit to 4-3 on Alexandria Quast's free position goal with 18:38 to play in the first half. But it was as close as the Dragons would get to the lead for the rest of the game, as the Storm got the next two goals and slowed the pace of the game to a crawl. The Dragons were held off the scoreboard for the next 13 minutes but managed to cut the deficit to 8-5 at the half on Quast's unassisted goal with 25 seconds left in the half.

The second half was more of the same, as Lake Erie scored three of the first four goals over the opening 10 minutes of the half to take a 11-6 lead.

The Dragons got goals from Kalie Weinheimer and Katelyn Hill to cut the deficit to 11-8, but the Storm again stalled the game and played keep away from TU, not allowing another TU goal until Emily Roussel scored on a free position shot as time expired. By then the Storm had tacked on four more goals and put the game away.

Lake Erie outshot TU 31-22, including a 14-8 mark in the second half. They also committed just 9 turnovers.

Quast led TU with 3 goals and 2 assists along with 3 caused turnovers. Hill and Roussel had 2 goals apiece, with Hill also getting 5 draw controls and 3 ground balls. Alexis MacMillan had a goal with 3 assists. Jessica Bombard finished with 12 saves over 60 minutes.
