The closing 17 minutes of Tiffin University's game at Edinboro proved disastrous, as the Dragons were unable to hold their second half lead and fell 13-10.

After holding a slim 7-6 halftime lead, the Dragons continued to play well in a narrow contest early in the second half, building a 10-8 lead with 17:34 to play.

But the Dragons could not keep up the offensive assault, as Edinboro tallied five unanswered goals over the final 17 minutes to pull out the victory.

Alexandria Quast had a strong game with 7 goals and an assist, but TU managed only 17 total shots in the game, scoring on 10 of them. Overall Edinboro outshot TU 32-17 and won the ground ball battle 20-14.

Elyse Braun scored 2 goals and Kalie Weinheimer had a goal. Alexis MacMillan had 4 assists while Kelley Miller also had 2 assists. Jessica Bombard had 15 saves while facing 32 shots.
