BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - Junior Joe Graessle had his fifth straight 20+ scoring performance as the Tiffin University men's basketball team (3-5, 1-3 GLIAC) lost 86-70 to Ferris State (4-3, 3-1 GLIAC), Saturday afternoon at Jim Wink Arena.

For the first nine minutes, Ferris State controlled the tempo. The Bulldogs maintained a six-to-eight point lead for most of that time. A pair of free throws gave FSU a 19-12 lead with 10:42 to go.

Tiffin started a run with a pair of charity tosses by freshman Khaleal McCormick. With 6:18 left, sophomore Michael Bouley hit a shot in traffic. That closed a 10-3 run and tied the game at 22. Ferris State hit a three-pointer in the last minute to lead 33-29 at the break.

The Bulldogs held an eight-to-10 point lead for the first seven minutes. Senior Cody Dennison hit a 15-footer to make it 49-41 with 13:12 left. Over the next two minutes FSU went on a 9-2 run to effectively end the game.

For Tiffin, Graessle had 24 points and two steals while Bouley finished with 10 points. Off the bench senior Isaiah Twine had nine points and seven rebounds and McCormick had eight points.

For Ferris State, Drew Lehman had 20 points and Stolicker had 11 points and 14 rebounds.
