TIFFIN, Ohio - Junior Joe Graessle had his sixth straight 20+ scoring performance as the Tiffin University men's basketball team (3-6, 1-4 GLIAC) lost 75-55 to Michigan Tech (7-2, 5-1 GLIAC), Saturday afternoon at the Gillmor Center.
For the first five minutes, the two squads were on even terms. Freshman Eric Roby hit two free throws to put Tiffin up 8-3 at the 16:30 mark. Michigan Tech hit a triple to cut the lead to two.
Graessle hit a jumper to put the Dragons up 10-6 at the 15:59 mark. The Huskies scored 16 straight points to effectively end the game.
For Tiffin, Graessle had 25 points and four steals while junior Mike Boan scored nine points.
For Michigan Tech, Phil Romback had 21 points with six triples and Alex Culy scored 13.
