Tiffin University (1-13, 0-9 GLIAC) could not contain a hot shooting Ferris State team in the first half as the Bulldogs jumped out to a 48-33 halftime lead en route to a 85-66 victory. The Dragons fell off in the second half, shooting just 32 percent, while the Bulldogs finished with a 54 percent field goal percentage, including 62 percent in the first half.
Austin Smith led the Dragons with 20 points but was the lone player in double figures. DeAngelo Jordan had 9 points while Rafael Cuellar added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Brian Scott also had 8 points.
