Home Meets Highlight Tiffin’s 2026 Cross Country Schedules

TIFFIN, Ohio – The Tiffin University men's and women's cross country programs have announced their 2026 schedules, highlighted by a pair of home regular season meets ahead of the Dragons hosting the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship.
 
The Dragons will open the 2026 campaign by hosting the Tiffin XC Open on Friday, Sept. 11, at the Paradiso Athletic Complex. Tiffin will return to action two weeks later when it hosts the G-MAC Preview Meet on Friday, Sept. 25, at Hedges Boyer Park.
 
The men's program will compete at the prestigious Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2, at Burke Golf Course in Notre Dame, Indiana. Both programs will then travel to Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the Lucian Rosa Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 10.
 
Tiffin will use the Lock Haven Go Fast River Run on Saturday, Oct. 24, as its final tune-up before hosting the G-MAC Championship on Saturday, Nov. 7. Teams that qualify for the NCAA postseason will compete at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional on Nov. 21 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, while the NCAA Division II Championships are scheduled for Dec. 4 in Lawrence, Kansas.
 
Mark Del Monaco enters his second season as Tiffin University's Director of Track & Field and Cross Country following a successful first year that saw the women's cross country team finish 22nd at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships and the men's team place fourth. Roman Rodriguez also made history by becoming just the second Dragon to win an NCAA Midwest Regional individual title.
