Junior Brandon Swope has been named First Team All-Conference as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) announced the baseball awards on Wednesday afternoon. 

Swope went 4-1 on the mound in 12 starts. His 2.72 ERA was the second-best among G-MAC starting pitchers, and he held opponents to a .153 batting average which was the best in the conference. 

Swope struck out a career high 11 in a win against Findlay on April 3 and tied his career high of 11 in his final start of the season against Lake Erie on May 2. Swope earned the win in both games and threw 5 no-hit innings against the Storm.  

He struck out 64 in 56.1 innings of work and was named the G-MAC North Division Pitcher of the Week twice during the season.
