Brandon Swope has earned another accolade following a breakout season on the mound, earning American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Second Team All-Midwest Region honors.  

Swope, who was named the G-MAC North Division Pitcher of the Week twice during the season and was named First Team All-Conference, went 4-1 on the mound in 12 starts with an ERA of 2.72. His ERA was the second-best in the G-MAC, and he held opponents to a .153 batting average which was the best in the conference.  

Swope struck out a career high 11 in wins against Findlay and Lake Erie and tossed five no-hit innings against the Storm. He struck out 64 in 56.1 innings of work during the season.
