Tiffin to host NCAA Super Region 4 championships

Tiffin University will be hosting the NCAA Super Region 4 Women's Wrestling Championships Feb. 20-21, 2026 in the Heminger Center.

The event marks the first season that the NCAA is recognizing women's wrestling as a championship sport. There were 76 women's wrestling programs at NCAA schools in 2023-24, with projections pointing to an additional 17 programs in 2024-25. More than 1,200 women wrestlers are competing at NCAA schools today. The sport is also diverse. At least 45% of the student-athletes competing are of diverse or international backgrounds.

Qualifiers will advance to the National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships March 6-7 in Coralville, Iowa.

Super Region 4 features 20 teams including Adrian, Albion, Alma, Aurora, Baldwin Wallace, Davenport, Elmhurst, Eureka, Grand Valley State, Heidelberg, Hiram, Illinois Wesleyan, John Carroll, Manchester, Mount Union, North Central, Northern Michigan, Otterbein, Tiffin, and Trine.
