Box Score The Tiffin University women's soccer team (0-1) opened the 2024 campaign with a 2-0 loss at Rollins College Thursday evening. Slated for a 7 p.m. start, mother nature forced the game to start late due to thunderstorms in the area. 

Rollins wasted no time and sent a shot on goal just 44 seconds into the contest and later scored the first goal of the game just over four minutes in. The early goal would prove to be the game winner and the home squad would add another goal in the second half. 

Suzy Hayes led the Dragons in shot attempts with four and shots on goal with two. Mauriana Dorsch and Mikaela Bevelander each attempted one shot. Dorsch sent a shot on goal with three seconds remaining in regulation, but Rollins goalkeeper Ella Henderson recorded the save. Malea Nelson got the start at goalkeeper and played 70 minutes while recording four saves. Sam McPhee played 20 minutes in goal and did not record a save. 

The Dragons play at Florida Tech on Saturday night at 7 p.m. to wrap up their southern road trip.
