Tiffin University (13-18, 5-5 G-MAC) picked up a pair of wins against Kentucky Wesleyan, winning 9-4 and 7-1.

Claire Feldkamp got the win in the opener, going 5 innings and allowing 2 earned runs with 6 strikeouts. Isabella St. Peter pitched the final two innings for the save, allowing just 2 hits and no runs.

The Dragons scored in five innings, totaling 15 hits in the game. In the second inning, Molly Koesters and Maci Head singled. Aurbrie Harper got an RBi single to put TU up 1-0.

In the third, Taylor Whalen singled and stole second and came home on Koesters's center field home run that hit the centerfielder's glove and carried over the fence to push TU's lead to 3-0.

TU had a big fourth inning. Harper singled, and pinch runner Bailey Hamilton then stole second. Katie Deardorff then singled and stole second, and both runners came home on Whalen's single. Maddie Woods then tripled home another run, and scored herself on Tara Gall's single.

Up 7-4 in the fifth inning, Head doubled and was sacrificed to third. Michelle Rodkey then brought her home with a sacrifice fly.

TU got its final runs in the sixth. Woods singled and stole second and then came home on Head's single.

In game two, St. Peter got the win with 4 innings of work, allowing 6 hits and one earned run. The game was called in the top of the fifth when an injury to a KWC player with no players on the bench left the Panthers too depleted to continue while trailing 7-1.

TU first got on the board in the first inning, as Whalen singled and came home on Woods's triple. Head then knocked her home with a single.

In the third, Whalen singled and stole second. Woods then singled. Both players then executed a double steal, with Whalen coming home. Koesters then walked and Gall singled to drive in another run. An error at shortstop on a fielder's choice let another run in, and Deardorff then singled for two more TU runs as the Dragons pushed their lead to 7-1.

Overall Whalen, Woods, and Gall all had 2 hits, with Woods hitting a triple and Gall a double.
