The Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-1-1) fell to Davenport University 2-1 in their home opener.

After a scoreless first half, the Panthers scored two unanswered goals to hold a 2-0 lead in the 83rd minute. Kristen Dickison scored a penalty kick in the 84th minute to cut the Panthers' lead to 2-1.

The Dragons outshot the Panthers 18-16, but Davenport had six shots on goal compared to five for Tiffin, and each team had three corner kick opportunities.

Malea Nelson took the loss as she faced seven shots with five saves through 90 minutes of play.
