The Tiffin University baseball team won 8-2 in game one of the double header. Due to lack of sunlight game two was postponed until March 14 with the game currently tied at 3-3 in the top of the eighth.

Game 1:

After two scoreless innings the Fighting Scots got on the board first on a passed ball with runners on first and third.  

The Dragons responded with seven runs in the bottom of the third. Danny Donnelly hit a home run to left field to begin the inning. Jake Shier doubled to left field, and Marino Pugnetti doubled down the third base line to score Pugnetti. With the bases loaded Nich Green doubled to right center field to score Zach Campbell from first, Kyle Vance form second and Pugnetti from third. Then, Tim Orr doubled to bring in Green and force a pitcher change for OVU.  Waterman in relief flied out the first batter, but walked two batters and Orr scored on a passed ball to lead 7-0. 

Ohio Valley registered a run in the top of the 7th off a single to right center scoring a runner from second.

Tiffin added to their lead in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on first and third Bryce Richey hit into a double play to bring in Green from third to lead 8-2.

Nich Green led the offense hitting 3-for-4 with two doubles, 3 RBI, and scored 2 runs, teammate Tim Orr went 2-for-3 with one double, had one RBI, and scored one run.

Michael Boswell got the win pitching 5.0 innings, recording nine strikeouts, allowing only one hit and one run. Robert Guerrero III came in in relief and pitched 3.0 innings, had three strikeouts, only allowed three hits, and one run. Aaron George pitched the last inning, facing three batters and striking out one.
