Tiffin University (1-5-1) could not keep up with 12th-ranked Grand Valley State, falling on the road 9-0.

The Lakers jumped out to a 4-0 lead by halftime, scoring in the 9th, 10th, and 18th minute before tacking on one more in the 37th minute. They kept up the barrage in the second half with five more goals.

The Lakers finished with a 25-6 shot advantage and allowed no corner kicks to TU while taking 10 themselves.

Samantha Ortenzi took the loss in goal, playing 68 minutes and making 6 saves while allowing 7 goals. Taylor Taffo finished with 22 minutes and allowed 2 goals while making 2 saves.
