Tiffin University (22-16, 7-9 GLIAC) combined solid hitting with good pitching to shut down Walsh 5-0 and 9-1 in five innings on the road.

In the opener, Kimmy Reynolds allowed just 3 hits and fanned 7 in going the distance in the shutout. She was boosted by TU's offense, which collected 10 hits and scored multiple runs in the 3rd and 6th innings.

Jena King had 3 hits, while Michelle Poe had 2 hits with a double for 2 RBI. Sarah Brown had 2 hits with a double, while Cassandra Brown had a triple and RBI. Amanda Rock also had a double.

In game two, Tiffany Snell allowed one run on 4 hits in the 5 inning game, as the Dragons had a big 3rd inning in which they scored 5 runs. Overall they added 9 hits in the game.

Poe had 2 hits including a home run, while Cassandra Brown and King had 2 hits each. Sarah Brown also had 2 RBI.
