Tiffin University's Tiffany Snell tossed a 5 hit complete game shutout in the nightcap of a doubleheader with Findlay, leading TU to a 2-0 victory. The Dragons dropped the first game 4-1.
Snell went the distance and benefited from a two-run single by Michelle Poe in the 5th inning. She cruised until the 7th inning, when she managed to pitch out of a jam with runners on 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs by getting a popout to left field.
TU (20-11, 5-4 GLIAC) had 5 singles in the game but made the most of them, with Poe getting 2 RBI.
In the opening game defeat, Kimmy Reynolds went 7 innings and allowed just 4 hits but was hurt by a 3-run home run she allowed with 2 outs in the 1st inning.
The Dragons could not muster a comeback, generating just 5 singles of offense. Amanda Rock had the game's lone RBI for the Dragons.
