Kimmy Reynolds had her A game working against Lewis, as she tossed a complete game 2-1 victory on a day that also saw Tiffin drop a 6-2 decision to Quincy.
Reynolds went 7 innings and allowed just 2 hits to get the win. TU led 1-0 entering the 6th inning. After Lewis tied the score, Samantha Ringwalt drove home Jamie Sevenish with a game-winning single. Reynolds went 1-2-3 in the 7th to complete the victory.
Sevenish had a strong game, collecting 3 hits and scoring both runs. She had a double and triple amongst her three hits.
Against Quincy, the Dragons opened with a 1-0 lead but gave up 5 runs between the 3rd and 4th innings and could not bounce back. Overall the Dragons had just 4 hits on the day and left 8 runners on base.
Amanda Rock had 2 hits with an RBI while Michelle Poe and Jena King had doubles. Kelsey Yaratch took the loss, allowing 3 earned runs over 3 innings of work.
