It was a rough day at the plate for Tiffin University's softball team (2-4), as the Dragons could not manage a hit in a 3-0 loss to Quincy and then fell to 16th-ranked West Virginia Wesleyan 4-0.

In the opener, TU managed just 3 walks and moved only one runner into scoring position in the game. Sarah Brown took the loss, going 7 innings and allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits.

In game two, WVW benefited from a big three-run homer in the 2nd inning as they jumped in front early.

Cassandra Brown had 2 hits with a double while Jamie Sevenish also had 2 hits. Kelsey Yaratch took the loss, allowing 4 earned runs on 7 hits over 6 innings.
