TU defeated Indiana (PA) 8-5 in their opening contest before dropping a close one to Quincy 4-1 in the nightcap.
In game one, the Dragons sent Kimmy Reynolds to the mound for the start. She ran into trouble right out of the gate, surrendering two runs in the 1st inning.
The Dragons moseyed along for a few innings trailing Indiana University of Pennsylvania before starting their comeback. Tiffin scored four runs in the 3rd inning to jump out in front 4-2. The runs came courtesy of a hit by pitch and walk to put the first two runners on. Then an RBI single by Kristin Prokopakis pushed one run across, and a Jena King double forced two more runs home. The Dragons added one more for their inning total of 4 runs.
Two innings later, IUP was back at it again, pushing three runs home in the 3rd to take the lead at 5-4. The Dragons countered with a run of their own, starting with a Jena King double and Madison Yanek single to tie the game at 5-5. The Dragons tacked on one more in the 5th, and for good measure, added 3 more runs in the 6th.

The second game was a tight affair, The Dragons sent Sarah Brown to the hill in search of her second victory of the day. Quincy University was the opponent, and they were befuddled by Brown for three innings, before striking for two runs in the 4th.
The Dragons got one of those runs back in the top of the 5th on an RBI double by Cassandra Brown to score Kristin Robinson. Tiffin trailed 2-1.
The Dragons saw their hopes of a comeback shattered in the 6th when a two run home run by Quincy put the Golden Eagles ahead 4-1.
