TU Women's Soccer completed a two game homecoming weekend with a victory over GLIAC foe Ferris State. Tiffin scored two early goals and held off a much more aggressive Bulldog team in the second half to earn the much needed victory.

Brittney Koester sparked the Dragon offense with two first half goals, the first coming off great work from Leanne Tobin who zigged and zagged her way through the Bulldog defense and placed a perfect pass on the foot of Koester who scored top left at 10:33 of the first half. Koester was not done there. She scored her second goal of the first half at 22:09, an unassisted goal that angled in off the far post for a 2-0 Dragon advantage at the half.

Ferris State played a much more aggressive second half. The aggression lead to a goal from Casey Shauman off an assist from Meredith Smith that left Tiffin goalkeeper Samantha Ortenzi little chance at 76:53. Ortenzi faced 10 shots allowing 1 goal while having 9 saves.

Tiffin improves to 2-6, 1-1 GLIAC while Ferris State falls to 1-4-2, 0-2-1 GLIAC. The Dragons continue their four game home stand October 5th when they host Grand Valley State at 1 pm.
