CLEVELAND, Tenn. - The Tiffin University baseball team (1-16) lost a doubleheader, 5-0 and 1-0 to Lee (19-7), Saturday at Olympic Field.

In the opener, Lee scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning. The Flames would add two in the sixth to seal the game.

For Tiffin, senior Kevin Kline (0-2) gave up 10 hits, five runs, walked one and struck out six in 5.7 innings.

For Lee, Jordan Stewart had two hits and drove in three runs. Dustin Lawson (3-1) gave up four hits, walked three and struck out six in six innings.

In the nightcap, LU struck in their first at-bats once again for a 1-0 lead. In the fifth inning, freshman Kyle Lento led off with a double. Lee was able to get the next three batters out to leave Lento stranded.

Tiffin threatened in the sixth as freshman Isaac Perry drew a walk. The Flames turned a double play and got a line out to end the threat.

LU would have one on with one out in the bottom of the sixth before the Dragons twisted a double play to stay alive. TU went 1-2-3 in the seventh to end the game.

For Tiffin, sophomore Logan Sendelbach (0-4) had a strong outing. He gave up six hits, one run, walked one and struck out two in six innings.

For Lee, Derrick Pitts (2-0) gave up two hits, walked two and struck out five in five innings. Kyle Briner faced three batters in the seventh for the save (2).

Tiffin remains on the road, Wednesday, Mar. 19, taking on Findlay. The doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.
