Tiffin University put together a strong first half, and trailed by only 6 at the half, but Cleveland State's strong start to the 2nd half was too much for Tiffin to overcome. The Dragons fell in Cleveland by a final score of 85-56.
In half number one the Dragons shot 45% from the field, 40% from three, and 84.6% from the free throw line. The Dragons pulled to within 3 points on numerous occasions, but could not get any closer.
The second half saw Cleveland State take off on a 16-2 run after 4:23 of play. Cleveland State shot 51.9% from the floor, 35% from three, and 72% from the charity stripe.
Tiffin was led in scoring by Khaleal McCormick with 10 points. Following McCormick in points was Ashton Khan with 9 points and 4 assists. Chrisean Marsden contributed 7 points and 4 rebounds.
The exhibition does not count against the Dragons' overall record. They sit at 1-1 overall and will be back in action on Thursday night at home against Lambton College.
