ASHLAND, Ohio - Juniors Hayley Coppola and Jourdan Larison led the way as the Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-5-1, 1-1-1 GLIAC) tied Ashland (2-3-2, 1-2-1 GLIAC) 1-1, Sunday afternoon.
At the 28:34 mark, Kelly Krispinsky scored off a cross to put the Eagles up 1-0. With a little over 10 minutes left in the half, Larison blasted a shot from midfield that found the twine. It was the defender's first career goal.
Tiffin had seven shots, three on goal, two corner kicks and was called for 12 fouls. Coppola was outstanding in the net, stopping 10 shots.
Ashland had 27 shots, 11 on goal, 14 corner kicks and was called for 10 fouls.
