TIFFIN, Ohio - Senior KC Weber had four hits as the Tiffin University baseball team (18-24, 12-14 GLIAC) beat Walsh (18-17, 12-13 GLIAC) 12-1, Friday afternoon at Heminger Field.
Tiffin lit up Walsh for ten hits and nine runs in the first inning and never looked back. The Dragons had 16 hits with everyone in the starting lineup having at least one hit.
For Tiffin, Weber had four hits, scored two runs and drove in five runs with a three-run homer. Senior Roger Christensen had three hits and scored three runs while senior Ryan Williams had two hits and drove in two runs. Senior Joe Perretta (2-4) gave up five hits and struck out three in six innings. Senior Tyler Glass (1) gave up five hits, one run, walked one and struck out two in three innings.
For Walsh, Andrew Bonnette had three hits. Brandon Whitslar (3-3) gave up seven hits, seven runs and walked one in one-third of an inning.
