Tiffin University (17-23) got a one-hit pitching performance from Kimberlee Hetrick against Notre Dame, posting a 9-1 victory over 5 innings. TU then fell in the nightcap 13-4 in 5 innings.

Notre Dame committed four errors in the opener and the Dragons took advantage of it. Jena King drove in 2 runs with a double, as did Kristin Robinson. Cassandra Brown added a double, while Caitlin Houk also drove in a run.

Tiffin had its own defensive problems in game two, committing 5 errors leading to 9 unearned runs in the game. The Falcons also banged out 12 hits off TU pitching, as Kaitlin Gruenewald took the loss. She did not record an out and allowed 4 runs (1 earned). Kelsey Yaratch tossed 3.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs.

Kristin Prokopakis had 2 hits with a triple, while Houk and Robinson recorded RBIs. Notre Dame opened the game with 5 runs in the first and put the game away with 7 runs in the fourth inning.
