Tiffin played Ohio Dominican close in both games on the road but were undone by breakdowns in single innings, as they fell 10-5 and 5-2 to fall to 8-11, 2-2 in the GLIAC.
In the opener, the Dragons jumped out to a 2-0 lead, then came back to score two more runs on Ryan Williams's home run to retake the lead 4-3 in the fourth inning. But then the wheels came off, as the Panthers responded with 7 runs in the bottom of the fourth to effectively end the game.
David Blalock took the loss, tossing 3 innings and allowing 7 earned runs. Roger Christensen had 3 hits with a double, while Williams finished with 2 hits and 3 RBI with a home run. KC Weber had 2 hits with a double and RBI, while Colin Sallee also had 2 hits and an RBI.
In game two, the Dragons opened in a 2-0 hole but tied it in the fourth inning with a pair of runs. But ODU responded with three runs in the 5th inning and the Dragons could not come back over the final two innings.
Nick Rodesky went the distance, allowing 4 earned runs over 6 innings of work in taking the loss. TU managed just four hits in the game, with Tayler Glass getting 2 of them with a double and RBI. Ryan Locke also had a double.
