Tiffin University (4-12) scored two runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to score a 4-3 win against Moorhead, with Cassandra Brown hitting a walk-off single for the win.

Sarah Brown got the mound victory, tossing 2 innings of relief after Amber Young started. Payton Denman also had 3 hits in the game.

In the opener, Southern Indiana got a 6-3 win as Kelsey Yaratch took the loss after throwing 5.2 innings. The Dragons had a 3-0 lead after the top of the first inning but the Eagles scored 5 runs in the second inning to take the lead. Five of USI's 6 runs were unearned.

Brown had 2 hits for the Dragons, who managed 8 singles in the game.
