TIFFIN, Ohio - The Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-6-1, 1-2-1 GLIAC) lost 4-1 to Northern Michigan (2-5-1, 2-0-1 GLIAC), Friday afternoon at Paradiso Fields.
At the 18:53 mark, junior Giulianne Domingues served up a corner kick to senior Lauren Bowyer. She chipped the shot over the goalie's head and into the net. The Wildcats scored four goals in a 13 minute stretch in the second half to break the game open.
Tiffin had 11 shots, three on goal, five corner kicks and was called for four fouls. Junior Hayley Coppola had 12 saves.
Northern Michigan had 24 shots, 16 on goal, six corner kicks and was called for four fouls. Paula Hafner had two assists.
