TIFFIN, Ohio - The Tiffin University women's soccer team (3-10-1, 2-6-1) lost 6-2 to Walsh (5-8-2, 2-7 GLIAC), Friday afternoon at Paradiso Fields.
Walsh took advantage of two defensive breakdowns to get up 2-0 after 20 minutes. At the 22:40 mark, sophomore Olivia Haskin chipped in a shot past the goalie to make it 2-1. The Cavaliers would score twice in the last 10 minutes of the half to seal the game.
Tiffin had 17 shots, eight on goal, four corner kicks and was called for three fouls. Haskin and junior Giulianne Domingues scored for the Dragons.
Walsh had 12 shots, 10 on goal, five corner kicks and was called for six fouls. Emily Durina and Jessie Gearhart scored twice.
