ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Junior Lauren Bowyer scored as the Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-1) fell 4-1 to Lewis (2-0), Sunday afternoon at Lewis Stadium.

Lewis was the aggressor in the first half, scoring two goals on seven shots. At the 50:26 mark, the Flyers were called for a foul in the box. Bowyer converted the penalty kick to make it 2-1. LU scored two goals in a two minute span late to seal the game.

Tiffin had nine shots, three on goal, three corner kicks and was called for 12 fouls. Senior Lindsey Gallagher had seven saves.

Lauren Bowles led Lewis with two goals. The Flyers had 17 shots, 11 on goal, two corner kicks and was called for 12 fouls.

Tiffin remains on the road, Tuesday, Sept. 4 taking on Cedarville. The game is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
