Tiffin University's softball team (19-18, 10-10 GLIAC) posted another conference split, blasting past Findlay 16-5 in five innings before getting blasted in game two 14-2 in five innings.
In TU's win, the Dragons racked up 12 runs in the third inning and totaled 12 hits in the game. Amanda Temple had the big game, getting three hits with a double and triple for 3 RBI. Meagan Baird also had 2 hits for 3 RBI while Chelsea Von Driska had 2 hits for 2 RBI.
Other top hitters included Torrie Terry (triple for 3 RBI), while Payton Denman and Caitlin Houk also had doubles.
Abbey Cooksey picked up the win, allowing 5 hits over 5 innings.
In the second game, Amber Young took the loss, lasting just one inning and giving up 4 earned runs. Torrie Terry pitched the final four innings. Jessie Creakbaum had a double, as TU managed just 4 hits in the game along with 3 errors.
