Tiffin University's softball team completed a 4-1 road trip at the Catawba College Tournament, beating Barton College 13-0 in five innings and then dispatching Fairmont State 5-0. TU improves to 8-1 this season.

Against Barton, Amber Young got the victory, allowing just 2 hits in the complete game shutout while fanning 3. Amanda Temple had the big game with 4 hits including a double and triple for 4 RBI, while Caitlin Houk also had a double and triple for 2 RBI.

Stephanie Bobotas added 2 hits as the Dragons pounded out 7 extra base hits in the game.

Against Fairmont State, Abbey Cooksey got the win, allowing 3 hits and fanning 3 in another complete game shutout.

Lauren Mazzuca, Bobotas, Temple, and Houk all had 2 hits each, with Mazzuca and Temple also getting RBIs.
