TIFFIN, Ohio - Sophomore Hayley Coppola had a school record 17 saves as the Tiffin University women's soccer team (5-6-2, 3-4-2 GLIAC) lost 2-0 to #4 Grand Valley State (11-1-2, 7-1-1 GLIAC), Sunday morning at Paradiso Fields.
Tiffin had two shots, one corner kick and was called for 10 fouls. Coppola broke the school record of 15 set by Tracy Shannon vs. Walsh (Oct. 19, 2004).
Grand Valley State had 39 shots, 19 on goal, six corner kicks and was called for eight fouls. Ashley Botts had both goals for the Lakers.
Tiffin hits the road, Friday, Oct. 19, taking on Walsh. The game is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m.
