COLUMBUS, Ohio - Sophomore Lauren Bowyer scored twice as the Tiffin University women's soccer team (4-3-2, 4-1-1 GLIAC) beat Ohio Dominican (2-4-1, 2-2-1 GLIAC) 3-0 Friday evening at Panther Field.
With just 1:09, Bowyer drove around the defender and fired the ball into the twine to make it 1-0. Over the next eight minutes, the Dragons would get goals from Bowyer and junior Alexandra Sevastakis to seal the game.
For Tiffin, they had six shots with all on goal, eight corner kicks and were called for 11 fouls. Junior Lindsay Gallagher made five saves for her third shutout of the season. Tiffin has not given up a goal over the last 331 minutes and 32 seconds.
For Ohio Dominican, they had 18 shots with five on goal, three corner kicks and were called for seven fouls.
