PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Sophomore Lauren Bowyer scored twice as the Tiffin University women's soccer team (1-1-1 GLIAC, 1-2-2) broke away late for its first win of the season, 6-2 over Lake Erie (0-2 GLIAC, 1-2), Sunday afternoon at Jack Britt Memorial Field.
 
  Tiffin drew first blood of the contest. At the 13:07 mark, junior Ashley Davis took a pass from Bowyer. She chipped the ball in from five yards away to make it 1-0. At the 34:36 mark, Meghan Ambrose fired the ball into the net to tie it up.
 
  At the 59:59 mark, senior Lauren Turkington fired a cross pass into the box. Bowyer broke through the defense and headed the ball home to make it 2-1. Twenty-one seconds later, the Dragons were called for a foul in the box. Ambrose converted the penalty kick to tie it once more.
 
  At the 64:02 mark, Turkington knocked the ball into the twine to put TU up, 3-2. Starting at the 78:51 mark, goals from Bowyer, junior Erin Thomas and junior Alexandra Sevastakis in the next two minutes sealed the deal.
 
  For Tiffin, they had 31 shots with 18 on goal, seven corner kicks and were called for three fouls. Junior Lindsey Gallagher came up with three saves.
 
  For Lake Erie, they had eight shots with five on goal and were called for 12 fouls. Megan Baldacci recorded 12 saves.
