Tiffin University lacrosse coach Colleen Dixon said there have been challenges for the second-year program. Apart from the fact she's a first-year coach who's trying to build a program, there is something else.

"A lot of people in the state of Ohio don't know what lacrosse is," the Syracuse, N.Y. native said. "To say we have a lacrosse team in Tiffin, their first question is 'What is lacrosse?'"
