Game Recap: Women's Lacrosse |

Dragons open conference play with dominant 21-0 win over Ursuline

Tiffin University women's lacrosse (4-4, 1-0 G-MAC) opened conference play with a dominating 21-0 win over Ursuline Wednesday afternoon at the Paradiso Athletic Complex. 

The Dragons started fast and never looked back. Off the opening draw control, Guinevere Salas found Isabelle Vranjes to make it 1-0 just 65 seconds in. With 2:58 left in the first quarter, Lauren Walsh found Dana Shehadeh for TU's 10th goal of the game which prompted the running clock and the rest of the game was played with the running clock.  

The Dragons scored 10 in the first, five in the second, two in the third, and four in the fourth. 

Tiffin dominated the game on offense, holding a 43-3 shot advantage and the Dragons also won the ground ball battle 25-12. TU also corralled 19 of 22 draw controls.  

Aryanna Rykard led the offense scoring a team high five goals. Vranjes and Walsh each scored four goals and Walsh finished with a team high four assists.  

Lillian Graham scored three goals and added three assists. Shehadeh and Kenna Wigginton each scored twice. Salas had one goal and two assists.  

Sarah Hart played 15 minutes and got the win in goal. Sam Wermuth played 15 minutes in goal also and Paige Waldrup played the final 30 minutes and recorded one save.
